Top Penny Stocks List and Weekly Update: Key Takeaways
- Never underestimate the power of promoters, especially when it comes to presidential pumps. See GBHL below.
- Volatility rules this market. That’s an invitation for overaggressive short sellers to get involved. Watch for more big short squeezes like DWAC.
- Several top students are CRUSHING it in this market! (See the Millionaire Mentor section below.)

Top Penny Stocks List: October 25, 2021
Last week ended with the kind of volatility experienced traders absolutely love. And it was all because of the first featured stock this week. Whatever you do, respect the Trump pump.
These are the OTCs I’m watching this week…
And here are the listed stocks I’m watching…
3 Stocks to Watch This Week
Let’s just get this out of the way….
Technically, only one of these three is a penny stock. But they’re all highly volatile. Study and learn because this kind of volatility can move the needle on a trading account. Fair warning, the same volatility that leads to big wins can lead to big losses. Stay safe.
Top Penny Stocks List #1: Digital World Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: DWAC)
Digital World Acquisition Corporation is a blank check company. Last Wednesday, Trump Media & Technology Company announced a merger with the SPAC.
Key points about DWAC:
- Love it or hate it, there are political connotations all over this. Biden supporters and/or Trump haters piled in on the short side and got squeezed. One overaggressive short seller lost $858,955 trying to short Trump.
- StocksToTrade Breaking News alerted this in premarket on Thursday at $11.17 per share. It hit a high of $52 during regular hours. It squeezed to $74.40 after hours. On Friday it kept going, hitting a high of $175 per share.
- There were multiple volatility halts on Friday and the stock gapped both up and down.
Plays like this almost make me want to start short selling again. But there’s no way I’m touching it right now. Watch DWAC to understand the dangers of overaggressive short selling. Also, watch sympathy plays like the next featured stock…
Top Penny Stocks List #2: Phunware Inc. (NASDAQ: PHUN)
Embed:
Phunware Inc. is a software company that specializes in gamified engagement on mobile phones.
Key points about PHUN:
- Phunware ran as a sympathy play to DWAC on Friday.
- Like DWAC, PHUN had multiple volatility halts and gapped both up and down.
- PHUN hit a 52-week high of $24.04 on Friday, up 1,471% from Thursday’s close.
Sympathy plays are notoriously difficult to trade. That said, PHUN and DWAC are perfect examples of my 7-step pennystocking framework. Learn from them.
Top Penny Stocks List #3: Global Entertainment Holdings Inc (OTCPK: GBHL)
Global Entertainment Holdings Inc is an entertainment content production and distribution company.
Key points about GBHL:
- GBHL spiked in sympathy to DWAC on Friday.
- Twitter promoters claimed the CEO was Trump’s former campaign manager. It’s all rumor and speculation. The CEO was NOT Trump’s campaign manager and is NOT the person promoters name as the CEO. Top tip: never believe so-called due diligence on Twitter. It’s 99% BS.
- In the first 16 minutes of trading on Friday, GBHL was up 387%.
- GBHL hit a 52-week high of 1.95 cents per share on Friday.
GBHL was on my Friday watchlist as a sympathy play to DWAC. Since DWAC is out of my comfort zone, I took the GBHL trade for a 45% win and $2,156 in profits.
More Trump Pump Sympathy Plays to Watch
- Benessere Capital Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: BENE) has the same CEO as DWAC.
- Mediaco Holding Inc. (NASDAQ: MDIA) spiked along with many other media related stocks.
- Salem Media Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SALM) is a multimedia company with a lot of BS ‘due diligence’ getting spread by promoters. (In July 2020, Trump appointed Salem Media radio host Sebastian Gorka to the National Security Education Board.) SALM traded its highest volume ever off of the Trump Pump.
- Ross Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: ROSS) was heavily promoted as a Trump sympathy play based on this article.
Also watch these warrants since they spiked along with their related tickers: DWACW, PHUNW, and BENEW.

How to Create Your Own Penny Stocks List
Answers to watchlist FAQs…
How Can You Create Your Own Watchlist?
To start, look for big percent gainers. For two decades, big percent gains have been my #1 criteria. After that, I look at trading volume and a catalyst or reason behind the price action. Read “Stock Watchlist Guide: Tips & Examples to Develop Your Own” for details about the entire process.
Should I Create a Watchlist Every Day?
All serious traders create a daily watchlist. If you’re serious about trading penny stocks, making a daily watchlist is essential.
