Joe Biden on Thursday delivered remarks on the current recession in a meeting with CEOs across various sectors and industries.
Biden addressed the 2nd quarter GDP numbers that came in at negative 0.9%.
The GDP shrank by 1.6 percent in the first quarter of 2022.
The US economy is in a recession no matter what Joe Biden says.
Joe Biden put a new spin on the health of the economy after denying the US is in a recession.
Biden told the CEOs that the US is just transitioning to “stable, steady growth.”
“Now there’s no doubt that we expect growth to be slower than last year… but that’s consistent with a transition to a stable, steady growth and lower inflation,” said Biden.
He actually said this with a straight face.
