As public health ‘experts’ scramble to facilitate the next COVID wave ahead of the midterms, local officials are slowly bringing back arbitrary restrictions and mandates in an effort course correct what’s looking like an impending red wave, if the polls are an accurate reflection of November’s results when they come to pass.
And, naturally, California is leading the charge in getting the COVID hysterics back on track.
As of Monday, the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) officially reinstated its mask mandate for all students and staff members, effective immediately. The restrictions will apply to all summer school facilities and remain in place through the end of summer, at a minimum.
In a letter sent to students, parents, and staff on Friday, SDUSD explained that the changes come in response to a renewed rise in Covid cases across the country.
From the SDUSD:
“As a district, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been intentional in implementing strategies to keep our community safe and reduce absences due to illness— all in service of our students, staff and community.
If your student is participating in summer school or other summer enrichment program, please send them to school or their program with a mask. If they do not have one, masks will be provided. Students and staff will be required to wear their masks while indoors only.””
Despite all of the evidence showing that masks don’t work to stop viral spread, and, actually, force the wearer to constantly breathe a potentially harmful cocktail of bacteria, SDUSD administrators doubled down on the renewed mandate when they were questioned by local news. In response to a question on behalf of parents who do not want their child to be forced to wear a mask – something that should be akin to child abuse – SDUSD President Sharon Whitehurst-Payne brushed their concerns off and told them simply to stay home and participate in Zoom classes.
From Whitehurst-Payne:
“They [students] can go to our school that’s online. They can opt not to return to regular school…
They [students] should make it known that they feel uncomfortable [wearing a mask] and, at that point, just not return.”

SDUSD’s masking policy had previously been in effect through April; however, the district left the door open for it to return by claiming that the mandate would be reinstated if the San Diego area was flagged as a Covid hotspot again by the CDC. The district also made clear that it won’t hesitate to extend the mandate if the rate of transmission remains high going into the fall semester.
As of right now, San Diego is experiencing an increasing rate of new daily cases, rising by 5% week over week, according to the CDC. Furthermore, the area has experienced an even greater rise in hospitalizations, increasing by 31% compared to the previous week.
So much for the vaccines stopping transmission, let alone hospitalization and death. As is the case in other areas where Covid continues to surge, more than 70% of San Diego’s residents are vaccinated and likely account for the majority of new cases.
Mask mandates, other restrictions, etc, have nothing to do with health and safety, it’s all about arbitrary power and total control. However, when it comes to these young children, it gets even more sinister. They are indoctrinating them to be obedient in the face of tyranny under the fake guise of public health and helping the greater good.
Here we go again with the masking of children… It’s pure evil.
