Former President George W. Bush is on a Biden-esque roll this week.
Just one day after getting punked by a pair of Russian radio pranksters, ‘W’ was off punking himself at a speech in Dallas at Southern Methodist University’s Bush Center on Wednesday.
As the former ‘Republican’ President shamelessly stumped for US Support of Ukraine, he accidentally referred to the Eastern European country as Iraq – and we are all well aware of Bush’s history in Iraq.
Making things even worse, Bush made the Freudian slip while trying to drag Putin for being a murderous dictator who was overstepping his boundaries.
Whoops.
From Bush:
“In contrast (to Ukraine) Russian elections are rigged. Political opponents are imprisoned or otherwise eliminated for participating in the Electoral process. The result is an absence of checks and balances in Russia, and the decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq.”
“I mean, of Ukraine,” Bush added, quickly corrected himself.
Funny Bush would bring up political opponents being silenced, with what’s currently going on in the US – let alone Ukraine, where it’s basically open season on Zelensky’s political opponents.

Unfortunately, what Bush was purposefully saying was even worse than his gaffe. For the second time in a week, he praised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a modern-day Winston Churchill and fear mongered about the war with the subtleties of a blue-haired NY Times opinion columnist.
No surprise – this neocon Warhawk has thrown his full support behind the war machine in Ukraine.
