Dr. Fauci on Sunday appeared on ABC’s “This Week” after taking a little break from the spotlight.
Fauci is back and he’s floating new Covid restrictions because that’s what petty tyrants do.
“This Week” host George Stephanopoulos asked Fauci if the Covid pandemic is over and Fauci left the door open to new restrictions.
“Are we approaching the point where we are past the pandemic phase and you’ll go get some rest?” Stephanopoulos asked.
“I’m not so sure. I want to make sure we’re really out of this before I really seriously consider doing anything different,” Fauci said. “We are still in this. We have a way to go.”
Fauci added that if we see a surge in cases, “we have to be prepared to pivot and perhaps reinstitute some of those restrictions.”
