Joe Biden on Friday afternoon participated in a bilateral meeting with Sauli Niinistö, President of the Republic of Finland.
Biden’s exchange in the Oval Office meeting with the Finnish president ended on a weird note.
“You know my predecessor who sat in this seat, President Obama used to say, we’d be alright if we left everything to the Nordic countries, we’d be fine,” Biden said forgetting that Trump is his predecessor.
Sauli Niinistö replied, “Well we usually don’t start wars.”
Yikes.
