Donald Trump has announced that he will be holding a rally in South Carolina on March 12.
The event will be taking place at the regional airport in Florence, Trump’s political action committee Save America announced.
“After a year of crises and failures from the Biden Administration, it’s no surprise folks are eager to rally behind a Republican, America First agenda,” South Carolina GOP Chairman Drew McKissick said in a statement about the rally. “That’s why we’re excited to welcome President Trump back to South Carolina.”

“Under President Trump’s leadership, our Party saw exponential growth everywhere, but particularly in rural, historically Democrat Pee Dee counties,” the statement continued.
McKissick added, “sky-high gas prices, inflation through the roof, a border crisis, and repeated foreign policy disasters have made it easy for voters to see the stark difference between winning Republican leadership with Trump in the White House and failed Democrat leadership with a Democrat majority in Congress and Joe Biden in the White House.”
Trump has endorsed Katie Arrington in her primary race against incumbent South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace.
The rally is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at 2100 Terminal Drive in Florence. However, doors are expected to open at 2 p.m, local station News 19 reports.
