Brianna Kupfer’s killer, 31-year-old Shawn Laval Smith was arrested in Pasadena on Wednesday just before 12 noon local time.

Shawn Laval Smith, the suspected killer of Brianna Kupfer, was taken into custody Wednesday in Pasadena in connection with the 24-year-old UCLA grad student’s stabbing death, the victim’s father confirmed to FOX 11.
He was arrested by Pasadena police officers around 11:50 a.m. at a bus stop near the intersection of E. Colorado Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue, approximately 17 miles from the furniture store where Kupfer was murdered, officials said.
24-year-old Brianna Kupfer was stabbed to death at Croft House, a luxury furniture store on North La Brea Avenue last week.
Shawn Smith walked into the furniture store where Brianna was working alone, stabbed her, then casually strolled out the backdoor into an alley.
Shawn Laval Smith has a long rap sheet and was arrested and released 12 separate times.
Smith was out on $1,000 bail when he fatally stabbed Brianne Kupfer.
Brianna’s father blamed woke politicians and prosecutors for his daughter’s death.
