A New York state wide rally will take place this coming Wednesday at The Capitol Building in Albany during Governor Kathy Hochul’s “State of the State” Address. Organizers say this event is expected to attract thousands.
New York has been the testing ground for unprecedented mandates that continue to sweep the country and activists continue to warn the nation that if it can happen in New York, it can happen anywhere.
“Soon to be coming to a city near you if you don’t join us here in New York in fighting these unconstitutional mandates,” said John Tabacco, New York City Anti-mandate Activist and Newsmax host.
“Thousands of New Yorkers fed up with ineffective, but destructive, Covid orders will gather at the Capitol in Albany for Governor Kathy Hochul’s first State-of-the-State Address and the first day of the 2022 legislative session on Wednesday, January 5,” said organizer John Gilmore of Autism Action Network.

The rally will be held in the West Capitol Park beginning at 10:30 AM EST.
Hochul has said she intends to mandate Covid shots for all New York students and according to organizers this is “despite the lack of any solid data that shows Covid shots do more good than harm to children, and a complete absence of any information on longer-term injuries”.
“There is no reliable science that there is any benefit from the shots,” said rally speaker Mary Holland, President and General Counsel for Children’s Health Defense. “On the contrary, there is evidence of harm, including death.”
According to the official press release:
Demonstrators will urge legislators to reject a spate of bills that do everything from mandating Covid shots for K-12 students (A8378), eliminating medical privacy rights and seizing all adult vaccine records for a statewide database (S75a/A279a), taking away parents right to know, or have any say in what shots are given to their children (S9227/A822, S3041/A3192), mandatory Covid shots for college students (S6495/A7829), mandatory flu shots for pre-school and K-12 students (S2276/A2316), and eliminating the right to a religious exemption for college and employment shot mandates (A8398), among others.
The more than 40 groups across the political spectrum sponsoring the event are calling for a return to work and school for people who refuse the still experimental Covid shots. “Texas, Florida and most other states have none of these heavy-handed policies,” said John Gilmore, of the New York Alliance for Vaccine Rights, “But the numbers show that they are doing a better job with Covid than New York.”
Hochul claims to follow the science but refuses to acknowledge that a majority of the population has already recovered from Covid and now have immunity superior to the short-lived and rapidly diminishing protection claimed for Covid shots.
“More than 70% of all NYC firefighters had Covid and recovered,” said Paul Schweit, a NYC firefighter and co-founder of Bravest for Choice. “Does anybody care what the medical status is of a firefighter who is about to save their life?”
“Thousands of licensed healthcare professionals exercised their own judgment and decided that the Covid shot is not right for them,” said Donna Schmidt, RN of New Yorkers Against Medical Mandates. “These were the heroes of 2020 who Hochul decided to fire and create the medical labor shortage we are now scrambling to fix.”
Hochul, former Governor Andrew Cuomo and former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio dispensed with longstanding respect for religious exemptions to mandated shots resulting in the loss of highly qualified employees. “New York City is dealing with the loss of thousands of veteran teachers,” said Michael Kane of NY Teachers for Choice. “We need to stop the rest of the state from repeating New York City’s mistakes.”
