Just last month Parag Agrawal, Twtter company’s former CTO, was promoted to the head of Twitter after its board of shareholders unanimously voted for him to replace Dorsey.
Since Agrawal’s appointment, the platform has kicked its already-flagrant censorship of dissenting opinions up a couple of notches.
One of the first changes Agrawal made was to ban the sharing or posting of media (images and videos) of any individual unless the person depicted in the media gives their consent, which is an unprecedented move that would severely limit conservative and investigative journalists who rely on videos of crimes and corruption – taken without the perpetrator’s consent – for a large portion of their reporting.
Now, the social media giant is silencing users for sharing 100% true statements about Covid-19.
Twitter recently completed a large overhaul to its Covid misinformation policy, and unsurprisingly, the list of things you can get banned or censored for was greatly expanded.
The updated policy states that the platform will be imposing new authoritarian sanctions on tweets about vaccines, PCR tests, and the overall severity of Covid-19. These sanctions include ramping up the removal and labeling of tweets or even banning the user for sharing the unapproved speech.
Several completely factual claims about the virus are now going to be censored or no longer allowed to be shared on the platform, including the simple fact that vaccinated people CAN “spread” Covid-19.
Statements like this will be labeled with “corrective information” if they are allowed to be posted at all.
From Twitter’s policy:
We may apply labels to Tweets that contain, for example:
– “the vaccines will cause you to be sick, spread the virus, or would be more harmful than getting COVID-19”
– “false or misleading claims that people who have received the vaccine can spread or shed the virus (or symptoms, or immunity) to unvaccinated people”
Not only are these two examples accurate, but even the CDC admits that fully vaccinated and even boosted individuals are able to transmit the virus to others, meaning Twitter users could now be punished for sharing or discussing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) own admission.
But, ScIenCe?

In fact, the majority of new Omicron cases in the US (and everywhere else for that matter) are VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS, a large number of them have even gotten a booster jab, and they still caught the new variant.
And that’s according to the CDC, who seems to be spreading a lot of what Twitter classifies as ‘misinformation’ these days…
But it was totally acceptable to call this the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” before enough data had come out – a shameless lie that was parroted by politicians and news figures across the west, meant to castigate and ridicule people for making their own decisions.
Now pointing out the simple fact that the vaccines don’t even prevent people from passing the virus to others is considered a terminable offense.
What a joke.
Currently, Twitter’s COVID-19 misleading information policy page is titled “Overview November 2021,” but a web archive of the page from early December shows that the policy was unchanged and the “Overview November 2021” title and updates to the policy were added AFTER December 2.
As part of the changes to its policy, Twitter will also start giving out strikes and removing the tweets of users that cite publicly available studies and statistical findings to “make claims contrary to health authorities” if the all-knowing Twitter fact-checkers arbitrarily determine that the claims are misinformation.
Translation: only approved science that fits the narrative is allowed.
The previous version of the Covid misinformation policy made it clear that Twitter would censor what it deemed to be “false or misleading” information derived from research studies, but it did not include any language about censoring the statements solely based on the contradiction of the so-called public health experts.
Twitter will now also be giving users strikes or even removing their Tweets if they include anything indicating that the “vaccines approved by health agencies (such as Pfizer’s Comirnaty vaccine in the United States) did not actually receive full approval/authorization, and therefore that the vaccines are untested, ‘experimental’ or somehow unsafe.”
Again, another true statement that is being inexcusably censored by the platform.
The FDA only issued full authorization to Pfizers so-called “Comirnaty” vaccine, which is not actually available anywhere. The Pfizer vaccine that is being administered now is the same vaccine that was only granted an emergency use authorization (EUA) by the FDA and is being used as a substitute until the fully approved Comirnaty vaccine is made available – which, again, it still hasn’t been…
Some of the other claims that will be censored and removed under Twitter’s updated policy include:
-
“False claims about COVID-19 that invoke a deliberate conspiracy by malicious and/or powerful forces, such as:
- The pandemic is a hoax, or part of a deliberate attempt at population control, or that 5G wireless technology is causing COVID-19.
- COVID-19 is not a real disease.
- Immunizations are part of a global surveillance, population control or depopulation effort.
- Vaccines (in general) are dangerous and the adverse effects that have been covered up by governments/the medical industry.
- Vulnerable groups (such as pregnant women, the elderly, or children) are being experimented on.
- That COVID-19 vaccines are causing magnetic reactions in individuals who have been vaccinated.
- That vaccines approved by health agencies (such as Pfizer’s Comirnaty vaccine in the United States) did not actually receive full approval/authorization, and therefore that the vaccines are untested, “experimental” or somehow unsafe.
-
Claims that specific groups or people (or other demographically-identifiable identity [children]) are more or less prone to be infected or to develop adverse symptoms on the basis of their membership in that group;
-
False or misleading claims about potentially harmful and unapproved treatments [ex. ivermectin] or preventative measures, for example, that chlorine dioxide or Povidone-iodine can be used as a prophylactic or in the treatment of COVID-19.
-
False or misleading information about official regulations, restrictions, or exemptions pertaining to health advisories.
-
Any efforts to promote, advertise, facilitate the sale of, or provide instructions on how to create fraudulent vaccination cards (or other digital records) or “exemption cards.”
-
False information about widely accepted testing methodologies, such as that PCR tests are unable to detect the virus.
-
False claims that suggest that vaccines contain deadly and severely harmful ingredients.
-
False affiliation – Accounts which misrepresent their affiliation, or share content that falsely represents its affiliation to a medical practitioner, public health official or agency, research institution, or that falsely suggests expertise on COVID-19 issues.”
As you can see the policy cleverly weaves in outlandish conspiracy theories with actual facts in order to confuse and lump all of the claims together as dangerous ideas.
Keep in mind, these extreme changes have all come within the first month of Agrawal’s leadership of the platform, and he won’t be letting up anytime soon.
Twitter’s new boss is an unapologetic, un-American radical who has made his views clear in recent interviews, saying that he doesn’t want the platform to be “bound” by the First Amendment and plans to “focus less on thinking about free speech.”
If you thought Twitter was a propaganda machine and an echo chamber before, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
Trump needs to put the warp speed on Truth Social and put the final death-nail in Twitter’s coffin for them.
