Christy Olezeski Phd., Director and co-founder of the Yale Pediatric Gender Program, bragged about her work helping children as young as 3 years old in there ‘gender tourney’ in a recent YouTube video. After widespread backlash, the original video has been removed.
According to her bio:
I am the Director and co-founder of the Yale Pediatric Gender Program (YPGP), an interdisciplinary team that provides services for transgender and gender expansive (TGE) youth and families in Connecticut. The team includes professionals in the fields of psychology, endocrinology, psychiatry, gynecology, reproductive medicine, medical ethics and law. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, interdisciplinary, family-centered care for children, adolescents and young adults questioning their assigned gender and/or seeking gender-affirming consultation and treatment in a compassionate, respectful and supportive environment. This program is regionally well-regarded, serving clients from all 8 counties in the state, as well as 4 states outside of Connecticut, serving over 200 youth and families to date.
My contribution to the educational mission of Yale’s School of Medicine focuses on teaching trainees in clinical and research training programs about (a) trauma-informed care, (b) psychosexual development, and (c) gender development. Teaching occurs through the delivery of clinical services, mentoring of clinical and research trainees, clinical supervision, and lectures offered in graduate courses and topical seminars coordinated by other faculty members. I have been lucky to mentor and supervise many students in the departments of Psychiatry, the Child Study Center, the School of Public Health and the Divinity School during my tenure at Yale.
In the video, which can still be seen on Twitter, Olezeski shares her mission to ‘provide comprehensive family-centered care for children, adolescents and young adults questioning their assigned gender and/or seeking gender-affirming consultation.’
In the video she explains:
I am a clinical psychologist by training. And I am the director of the Yale gender program, which is an interdisciplinary program working with gender-expansive individuals 3 to 25 and their families.
We help individuals who are questioning their gender identity or who identify as transgender or non-binary, we help them with their gender journey. Thinking through that, thinking through the risks and the benefits of medical intervention, starting medical intervention and also building supports around them.
I love what I do so it’s really, really wonderful to be working in this field and to be working with individuals who are gender diverse and gaining their support and helping them on their gender journeys.’
The outcry against Olezeski led to the removal of her original video and her decision to make her Twitter account private.

History will not look kindly Yale, Dr. Olezeski and her peers who are, at best, experimenting on children with zero scientific basis for their actions. Perhaps Josef Mengele loved his work as much as Christy Olezeski. He certainly thought his work was serving a noble cause.

Yale’s Pediatric Gender Program website shares it provides ‘a range of medical treatments related to gender affirmation — including puberty-blocking treatments, cross-hormone therapies and gender-affirming surgery.’
A patient must be 18 for reassignment surgery, but it does not specify the age when puberty blockers or early hormones can be used.
