Earlier, when Harris arrived in Charlotte she gave reporters two thumbs up when asked how Biden was doing.

Later while speaking at an event in Charlotte, Harris smiled and giggled when talking about Biden coming down with COVID.
“…Joe Biden, um, this morning he and I spoke by phone. He is in good spirits. He is feeling well. He is doing well. Uh, he is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and, of course he is (giggles). And um, as everyone, we, we, who, would encourage who is eligible to do the same. And um, he is working from the White House residence. And when we spoke he was very pleased as I said that we were all here together today talking about the work the administration is doing…”
While visiting Charlotte Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris said President Joe Biden is “doing well” after he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Thursday morning, Kamala Harris’ latest press secretary tried to calm a worried nation, “This morning, Vice President Harris tested negative for COVID-19. She was last with the President on Tuesday. She spoke to the President by phone this morning. The schedule will continue as planned. The Vice President will remain masked following the advice of the WH medical team”
