Gas prices today are down a bit from the all-time record highs in June.
A gallon of gas today costs $1.70 a gallon more thanit did just one year ago.
As Gateway Pundit reported earlier — the Biden administration announced a new plan to reduce domestic oil production, this time preventing new offshore oil drilling projects in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
On Friday, the Department of Interior announced part of its process to implement a new five-year plan for offshore oil drilling. The plan could allow a maximum of 11 oil lease sales for offshore drilling, ten in the Gulf of Mexico and one in the Cook Inlet off the south-central Alaska coast over the next five years. The plan eliminates any new productions from both the Atlantic and Pacific regions.
But that didn’t stop Joe Biden from lashing out at gas stations for his record gas prices.
This guy is the worst.
My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril.
Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product. And do it now.

Just last week Joe Biden lectured gas station owners and blamed them for the record gas prices at the pump.
Gas has been hovering around $5.00 per gallon the last two months.
These all-time record highs are over a dollar more expensive than during any previous administration.
Joe Biden: “To the companies running gas stations and setting those prices at the pump, this is a time of war, global peril, Ukraine. These are not normal times. Bring down the price you are charging at the pump. Do it now.”

Evidently, the President of the United States does not know that gas station owners have a miniscule profit from the price of gas.
Gas station owners make from 2¢ to 7¢ for a gallon of gas sold.
The federal government makes 16¢ to 18¢ per gallon.
That is two to five times more than a gas station owner.
Twitter went off today with Joe Biden’s complete ignorance.
I’ll just leave this here for everyone to understand how much gas stations make… also most gas stations are independently owned and operated and make majority of their profit from inside of the store not at the pump. I have many great ideas to fix this gas problem though pic.twitter.com/oZO78GBbQo

More money for Joe.
Is Basement telling companies they should sell their gas at no profit so that he can continue to finance, with OUR money, a lost conflict in a country which is ground zero for his corruption? pic.twitter.com/WgunHHIcey

Cernovich weighed in.
lol there’s no margin in gasoline. They make their money on the sodas and junk food. This is Franchise 101 level knowledge, which the leader of the free world is lacking. https://t.co/9rhAyk51sp

More truth.
Gas stations gross revenue is 2.5-3% on a gallon of gas; federal tax is 18 cents a gallon. Don’t get me started on state taxes that are often higher than producer gross revenue per gallon.

Joe Biden’s attacks on gas station owners are not just completely outrageous — they are completely dishonest.
