Project Veritas has obtained video of Elon Musk’s meeting with Twitter employees this week.
While speaking to the staff, Musk explained that he believes it is important for there to be free speech and transparency at the company.
“It’s essential to have free speech and to be able to communicate freely,” Musk told Twitter’s staff. “If there are multiple opinions, just make sure we’re not sort of, driving a narrative.”
Musk added that “in order for people to have trust in Twitter, I think it’s extremely important that there would be transparency.”

Musk also reasserted his belief that both the furthest ten percent of the right and of the left should both be equally unhappy with the platform. He said that he favors moderate politics. He explained that his vision for free speech is all speech that falls within the bounds of the law.
The Tesla founder recently expressed his support for voting for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in 2024.

Project Veritas previously obtained footage of Twitter Lead Client Partner Alex Martinez discussing the company’s ideology, criticizing the acquisition of the company by Elon Musk and at times denigrating Musk for his expressed views on free speech.
Martinez was seen saying that, “the rest of us who have been here believe in something that’s good for the planet and not to give people free speech.”
The lead client partner also discussed censorship on Twitter saying, “people don’t know how to make a rational decision if you don’t put out — correct things that are supposed to be out in the public, right?”
“If we’re implementing all these rules…and Elon wants to dismantle them, then technically our ideology has led us to not making money because we’re not making money, and Elon wants to turn it the other way so that we can make money,” he continued.
Martinez also mocked Musk for his Asperger’s.
