Republicans spent big to sweep a special election in Texas’ 34th Congressional District.
Mayra Flores won the seat 51% to 43.3% to her Democrat challenger. She won by nearly 7 points!
Democrat Filemon Vela won the Congresional seat in 2020 by 13 points over his Republican challenger!
That’s a 20 point swing in 2 years! Democrats should be panicked.
Joe Biden won this district in 2020 by less than 5 points.
The seat “ranges from east of San Antonio down to Brownsville, largely along the Gulf Coast before reaching the US-Mexico border.

Elon Musk tweeted out earlier today that he gave Mayra Flores was his first-ever Republican votes.
