President Donald Trump praised Dr. Oz’s decision to declare victory in the Pennsylvania Senate GOP primary.
Trump posted on Truth Social that Oz “rightfully” declared himself the winner and that he would go on to defeat his radical left opponents.
The wonderful Dr. Oz has rightfully just declared himself the winner of the Republican Primary for the U.S. Senate (Pennsylvania). He will go on to defeat his Radical Left opponent and be a great Senator for the Commonwealth, and the USA!
Dr. Oz declared victory in a video posted to Twitter on Friday.
Oz said he was “blessed” to earn the Republican nomination for Senate and called for unity.
It’s time to unite. I want to hear your ideas and make this country’s future as bright as it has ever been. With more freedom, less big government, and by empowering our people, America’s light will shine brighter than ever. pic.twitter.com/yWK5VhCk8P

Republican Mehmet Oz, the television personality and doctor endorsed by former President Donald Trump, declared himself the “presumptive” Republican nominee for Senate in Pennsylvania on Friday, despite the state’s announcement this week that the race would need an official recount.
In a video posted to Twitter, Oz thanks his supporters and calls for unity, painting himself as the winner of the primary.
“I am blessed to have earned the presumptive Republican nomination for the United States Senate,” Oz says.
The Pennsylvania Senate primary has come under scrutiny due to no winner being decided yet despite the election having taken place on May 17th.
President Donald Trump has repeatedly blasted how long it is taking saying “our elections are simply third world.”
The race is heading to a recount.
Pennsylvania’s Republican Senate primary race between Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dave McCormick will head to a recount, the state’s elections chief announced Wednesday.
…
That narrow margin triggered a mandatory recount under Pennsylvania law.
The recount is estimated to cost more than $1 million in taxpayer funds, Chapman’s office said. Pennsylvania counties must begin recounting ballots by no later than June 1, and they must finish their recounts by June 7 at noon ET.
