Elon Musk’s Twitter Detractors Received Millions in Federal Funds
In April two dozen far-left groups wrote a letter to Twitter advertisers and ordered them to drop their advertising on Twitter if Elon Musk purchased the social media giant. CNN published the hit piece on Elon Musk and Twitter. Democrats are furious that conservatives may have a voice again on the platform now that Elon Musk is in charge. It is now common knowledge that Democrats can only win when they cheat.
Here is the list of far-left organizations that signed the letter.

Elon Musk suggested at the time that someone should investigate the groups threatening the Twitter ad boycott.
As Ben Wetmore at The Gateway Pundit reported — The stated mission for these left-wing groups pressuring advertisers is to enact strict ‘content moderation’ policies that stifle free speech and are usually disproportionately enforced on conservatives.
Less well-known is how effectively the left has been engaged in this information war for the past decade, ensuring that successful alternative, dissident, and conservative media outlets have lower revenues.
These groups exist in a larger ecosystem that will fight Musk’s attempt to bring free speech to Twitter.
Musk exposed the culprits behind the plot — Media Matters.
OpenTheBooks.com did some digging and discovered that at least nine of these fascist groups received millions in government funding.
(SAN FRANCISCO) — Government spending watchdog OpenTheBooks.com released a report that showed organizations hostile to Musk’s attempt to purchase and improve Twitter have benefited from $10.5 million in taxpayer-backed loans recently.
Twenty six groups, many of them progressive activist organizations, wrote a letter to advertisers suggesting they halt any ad buys if Musk didn’t uphold content censorship guidelines at Twitter and keep President Trump banned from the social media platform. Musk responded in a tweet asking the public to find out who funds the organizations.
OpenTheBooks.com found that nine of the groups, including Black Lives Matter, Union of Concerned Scientists, and Media Matters for America, had received $10.5 million in federal funds, mostly via loans from the Small Business Administration in 2019, 2020, and 2021. The nonprofit pointed out that Black Lives Matter received their loans just as their leadership was encouraging protests that involved damaging and looting small businesses.
