VICE magazine published an article instructing readers how to make “do it yourself”abortion pills from horse medication after a draft Supreme Court opinion overruling Roe v. Wade was leaked to the press.
In an article titled, “Anarchist Collective Shares Instructions to Make DIY Abortion Pills,” journalist Jason Koebler guides women who are seeking abortions in states where the procedure has become illegal to make “misoprostol tablets” to induce abortion.
With the Supreme Court poised to overturn the constitutional right to abortion, an anarchist collective that makes DIY medicine has released detailed instructions for making abortion pills. https://t.co/NZuHrXlWPK

The article links to a 17-minute video published by Four Thieves Vinegar Collective, a self-described “anarchist biohacking group.”
The group’s founder Mixael Laufer is featured in the video recommending viewers use misoprostol, a drug that is used to treat ulcers in horses, and mifepristone to medically induce abortion.
“Medicated abortion is made up of one or two different medications,” Laufer says. “If you take the regimen of pills, of both of these, it’s about 95 percent effective.”
Social media users questioned whether Big Tech would censor posts about the abortion-inducing horse medication, misoprostol, after blacklisting Ivermectin throughout the pandemic.
While Ivermectin is a “horse dewormer,” the antiviral drug is Nobel Prize-winning for its use in humans and effectively treats COVID-19.
