It was difficult to get on major sports leagues after they recently backed and promoted Black Lives Matter. BLM was behind the death of 25 individuals, the destruction of billions of dollars in property, and over two thousand injured cops. This was not a group that stood for America. Major League Baseball used to be full of heroes and patriots. That’s why we loved MLB.

Last night we saw why Americans love sports. A young Yankees fan was handed the ball from Aaron Roger’s home run. The man who handed the kid the ball was a total stranger and a Blue Jays fan. The kid was overwhelmed and he hugged the stranger. This was really touching.

Americans love sports because we can cheer on heroes and spectacular athletes. We go to games to get away from life’s challenges. And, if we’re lucky, we have a chance to see great moments like this.
