Stewart Rhodes is the founder and leader of the Oath Keepers, a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
Rhodes was jailed in January by his government in their ongoing Jan. 6 political investigation and persecution. Rhodes was moved from his Plano, Texas holding cell to the Cimarron Prison and Correctional Facility in northeast Oklahoma earlier this month. Cimarron is a medium-security facility in Cushing, Oklahoma.
Radical Obama-appointed Judge Amit Mehta ordered Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes jailed until his July trial last week.
Judge Mehta is an Obama donor.
Stewart Rhodes is charged with plotting a seditious conspiracy. This is completely ridiculous and the court knows it. The Oath Keepers traveled to Washington DC on January 5-6 to offer security to conservative speakers and events.
On Saturday night Stewart Rhodes called The Gateway Pundit’s founder Jim Hoft from the Cimmarron Prison facility in Oklahoma.
This was his first audio interview since his arrest. We are publishing the audio of our conversation with Stewart Rhodes below.

The Gateway Pundit asked about Judge Mehta’s decision to keep him incarcerated before his trial in July.
Stewart responded,
“He’s confining me for my political free speech and for my legal and lawful purchases of firearms. Nothing I purchased was illegal. None of the transactions were illegal. But one of the things he cited was the frequency, the amount, and the timing of my firearm purchases. So heads up to all Gunners out there. They’ll use your constitutionally protected Second Amendment rights to lawfully own firearms against you if you’re accused of a crime.“
Stewart on the Oath Keepers roll on Jan. 6:
The government’s contention is that despite the fact that we were there for security, in fact, we were security operations on the Capitol grounds. Ali Alexander had a permit for a rally on Capitol grounds at the northeast corner of the Capitol grounds in area eight. And that’s exactly why I was standing on the northeast part of the Capitol grounds. I was trying to get my men to come to me because we were supposed to be there for an event. And our guys were escorting speakers from the Ellipses rally that President Trump held all the way to the Capitol grounds. It was our mission that day…
…Innocence is dead in this country. If you are a Trump supporter, if you’re a conservative Patriot, you are presumed guilty until you prove your innocence in front of the DC jury, which I don’t believe would be a fair trial.
Stewart Rhodes on the grossly irresponsible government charges:
I consider everybody who’s been charged for January 6 to be political prisoners because they’re all grossly overcharged.
Some people who might have assaulted police officers, hey, take your lumps. But then they’re also charged with conspiracy to interrupt Congress or in our case, it’s just conspiracy. So the checking on conspiracy, this is a federal prosecutor’s favorite weapon is to accuse people of conspiracy. That’s what they love to do. And they’ll take things that you do that have nothing to do with any kind of conspiracy. And they’ll throw it out there in front of a grand jury or in front of a jury as evidence that you were there for nefarious purposes.
On his faith in God.
I expected this, and my faith is strong. It’s God’s Will. This is what I know I must go through. Other Oath Keepers have been detained for over a year now. So I’m okay, I understand this is the fight we’re in, but this is a Gulag Archipelago, American style. You are put away. You are punished. You are in prison before you’re even presented with a jury. Like I said, the presumption of innocence is gone.
I’m lucky that I’m in a place that’s a much better facility than the DC jail. The staff treat you with respect. I’ve got no issues. I’m still in solitary confinement. But I did very well. In sharp contrast, will be here coming out of the DC on the Potomac, where it’s abuse, physical and psychological abuse 24/7.
On the reports and accusations that Stewart is working with the Feds, Stewart issued a warning.
I think I’m going to Sue Revolver News and Pete Santilli for defamation and not just on behalf of me, but on behalf of every Oath Keeper. because they also said that Oath Keepers from inception was an FBI operation, that the entire organization was an FBI front. And that’s defamation against all 40,000 members of Oath Keepers. So they’ll be getting a demand letter for a full public retraction apology.
On the Biden regime, Stewart says:
The Biden administration is bleeding legitimnacy. The debacle over the Ukraine just follows up on what happened in Afghanistan. It just shows the gross incompetence and cowardice of the Biden administration. But I think it’s beyond that. I think it’s also treason. One thing I want to state right up front is one of the things they don’t like about me is I refuse to accept Biden as a legitimate President. He’s just simply not. It was an unconstitutional election, not just fraudulent, but also unconstitutional. In Article 2, Section 1, it’s very clear that each state shall appoint in such manner as the legislature thereof may direct a number of electors. The electors must be selected according to state election law. Period. All the state election laws were set aside and they did what they wanted to by executive fiat. In every state, they stepped right outside the bounds of the Constitution which made that election absolutely unconstitutional. And of course, that was done to facilitate gross fraud, ballot stuffing, mail-in ballots and unsecured absurd drop boxes all over the place…
…People need to know that as a matter of black letter law, the Constitution was not followed. It’s an unconstitutional election as well.
On the upcoming Dinesh D’Souza movie, “2000 Mules.”
I heard about that. Looking forward to seeing it… Again. It only talks about the fraud. It doesn’t talk about the unconstitutionality.
In his closing remarks Stewart Rhodes said this:
Like I said, you must accept the reality that you have a post-Constitution government and you’ve got to rein it in. It can’t just be a focus on the fraud. It must be a focus on the fact that Congress is actually illegitimate right now. All of it. Even what you like, even the good congressman, it doesn’t make a difference. It’s unconstitutional.
