Dr. Fauci on Tuesday said the US is exiting the ‘full-blown’ phase of the pandemic.
Covid fatalities reached its highest level in a year this week, so what ‘science’ has changed?
“This week, the U.S. Covid death toll hit its highest level in about a year, rising 39% over the past two weeks, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.” CNBC reported.
“As we get out of the full-blown pandemic phase of COVID-19,” Fauci said to the Financial Times. “Which we are certainly heading out of, these decisions will increasingly be made on a local level rather than centrally decided or mandated. There will also be more people making their own decisions on how they want to deal with the virus.”
Just three weeks ago, Fauci said there are five stages in a pandemic and we’re only in stage one.
What changed?
Democrat governors all lifted their statewide mask mandates in unison as daily Covid death rates spike.
CNN medical analyst Dr. Leana Wen this week said the ‘science changed’ and called for pandemic restrictions to be lifted.
Internal polling for the Democrats must be really bad going into the midterms!
