The Associated Press should be ashamed of themselves.
They released a smear article right before January 6th about Ashli Babbitt, detailing her martial life, the alleged affairs of her and her husband Aaron Babbitt.
The article, tilted “Ashli Babbitt a Martyr? Her Past Tells a More Complex Story” is grossly unethical.
It is nothing more than a supermarket tabloid-esque smear piece with the intention of continuing to smear a dead woman killed on January 6th by a police officer. The information they offer is irrelevant on the world stage that they have a tremendous influence on. This is the best they could come out with on the anniversary of January 6th?

The function of The Associated Press is for news outlets around the world to reference to pull news for the day, and this is the garbage they are now churning out? Irrelevant nonsense.
Their “ethical journalistic, unbiased piece” included some sort of “tell-all” interview with a character named Celeste Norris. Her job was to spill the beans on the extramarital affairs of Babbitt from years ago, detailing their run in after . Is this somehow this is supposed to make everyone less sympathetic of the circumstances of Ashli Babbit’s death?

Norris says the bad blood between them began in 2015, when Babbitt engaged in a months-long extramarital affair with Norris’ longtime live-in boyfriend. When she learned of the relationship, Norris called Babbitt’s husband and told him she was cheating.
“She pulls up yelling and screaming,” Norris said in an exclusive interview with the Associated Press, recounting the July 29, 2016, road-rage incident in Prince Frederick, Md. “It took me a good 30 seconds to figure out who she was. … Just all sorts of expletives, telling me to get out of the car, that she was going to beat my ass.”
According to The Associated Press, they are “an independent global news organization dedicated to factual reporting. Founded in 1846, AP today remains the most trusted source of fast, accurate, unbiased news in all formats”.
This article was the opposite of anything the Associated Press claims to be. It was a a poorly written hit piece reminiscent of tabloid journalism and ethically unsound.
Ashli Babbitt was a decorated American Veteran of War, who was shot and killed on American soil by a Capitol Police Officer. Her death deserves a real investigation, not an internal one by Capitol Police of one of their own officers. That is what The Associated Press should be calling for on the anniversary of January 6th- a real investigation. Where are all the social justice leftists on this?

The January 6th Committee refuses to investigate Babbitt’s death or the death of Roseann Boyland (the other woman killed allegedly by DC Police on January 6th). Instead they focusing on distracting us by harassing Roger Stone and Alex Jones instead. Their investigation is nothing but a tremendous waste of tax dollars and political warfare. The January 6th Committee must be stopped and an independent committee must replace them. It is unethical that the Congress is investigating something they were so heavily involved in- it is impossible for them to be unbiased and furthermore they will never initiate any investigation into THEIR PART in the events that transpired on January 6th.
The victims of this “Committee” have become the American people whom they continue to tear apart with their fake January 6th Narrative and the country and Constitution they are ripping to shreds. They could care less who they hurt, and that includes the men and women rotting away in solitary confinement in DC Jail right now. It also includes the innocent families of Ashli Babbitt and Roseann Boyland, who the government refuses to give answers to about their daughters deaths as they continue to harass President Trump and his allies, using the January 6th Select Committee as a way to make sure the Trump never gets into office again.
They can continue to smear all they want. What they don’t realize is that the more they attack, the more it backfires. In the case of The Associated Press hit piece on Ashli Babbitt, the author Michael Biesecker attempts to disprove Ashli as a “martyr” of the right by attacking her personal life and interpersonal relationships before her death. His Twitter profile claims he is a “Pulitzer Finalist”. I hope he does not expect to make it to the finals again with this piece of trash article. I also assume in his mind he believes he lived such a perfect life that if he was killed by a police officer the country would be up in arms.
Biesecker, and the out of touch media, still do not understand Trump supporters or people in general. Everyone are mistakes, we are all imperfect. That is why so many people loved Donald Trump and still do. Because he wasn’t perfect. That made us love him more. The same goes with Ashli Babbitt. The more they try to demonize her, and the more we get her back.
At least this reporter will.
