Baltimore Police Officer Keona Holley, who joined the police force at age 37 to make a difference in her community, was taken off life support on Wednesday and passed away a week after she was shot in an ambush.

Police Officer Holley was in critical condition after she was shot several times in an ambush attack and then crashed her car into a playground.
The shooter walked up to the rear of the vehicle and began firing at the officer. The police officer sped off and crashed into a playground. She was in critical condition after being shot in the head.
