Joe Biden on Wednesday delivered remarks on the supply chain crisis he created.
Biden cracked a joke about the bottleneck he created: “I can’t promise that every person will get every gift they want on time. Only Santa Claus can keep that promise.”
Biden falsely claimed a supply chain crisis happens “every year” and compared his crisis to “Cabbage Patch Kids back in the 80s or Beanie Babies in the 90s.”
After reading from a teleprompter for a few minutes, a reporter asked Joe Biden about his promise to “shut down the virus.”
Joe Biden repeatedly promised to “shut down the virus.”
I’m going to shut down the virus, not the country.

I’m not going to shut down the country.
I’m not going to shut down the economy.
I’m going to shut down the virus.

On Wednesday a reporter confronted Biden on his promise.
Biden ignored the reporter, turned around and shuffled away.
